It by no means implies that one’s eagerness and desire for the top should make one take the unjust path. A person can reach the top, in the world of today, following the right path, using the combination of the mantras of smart living and hard work.   • Self-Awareness

The ability of introspection and self-recognition of being separate from the environment and other individuals. One of the strongest ways to live smart in any decision-making situation when the desired objective is clear and defined is what is called the ‘SWOT’ analysis. It is simply an analysis of one’s strengths, weaknesses, opportunities, and threats. Such individuals are more self-aware and can adjust to any external change, mold and pre-plan better to avoid a crisis. Strengths and weaknesses being internal to the individual while opportunities and threats being the external factors. It is not only applicable to an individual for self-analysis, awareness, and growth but can also be applied to an organization. It may sound difficult but it can be mastered by an individual through a simple five minutes early morning technique of breathing meditation, which immensely improves the thinking power and concentration levels to counter stress and anxiety levels i.e. negativism the whole day through.

  • To-Do List

It is observed that youngsters tend to be lazy. Avoid this habit as it is highly detrimental for young and growing adults. The best way out of this predicament is to have a daily to-do list for you. This will not only helps to keep one away from procrastination but also help in completing all the tasks up to the mark. Sticking to the list can be quite a daunting task but only way to be successful is to start by jotting everything down which is to be done that day and break the tasks into small, specific and realistic activity to avoid boredom. One must ensure that you are on course or the whole purpose will be defeated. In the end, it will be observed that this small habit not only makes life smooth and more productive and assures success.

  • Learn New ways of Dealing with Day to Day Challenges:

Life is not all that monotonous and simple. It daily throws new tantrums in front of us when times may arise where one has to deal with tough situations, difficult people who may be not con-vincible, autocratic and strict. They may happen to be one’s peers, bosses or relations. One should like sportsmen who follow the PDCA cycle of plan, do Check, act developing different techniques to help win games, learn the tricks for dissolving and solving such situations, handling such people and remain committed to growth and positivity.

  • Learn How to Live in day Tight Compartments:

We have generally seen people complaining and regretting about things that have passed and are long bygone. This habit only keeps one cribbing about things of the past and makes one cynical. There is no point crying over spilled milk and spoil today’s happiness also. One should let go of such habits and focus on the present situations, learning to live in day-tight compartments as also emphasized by Dale Carnegie in one of his famous books titled “How to stop worrying and start living”.

  • Comfort Zone Dilemma:

This is one very big dilemma with the youth of today. They want to have all the riches and comforts of the world sitting in the luxury of their home. This also weakens the resolve of the young minds, making them complacent. The lions venture out of their dens for a kill. So to grow and succeed in life one should venture out into the world out of their comfort zones to face all the turns and twists that life throws and only then will they mature and thrive.

  • Regular Fitness Workout Schedule:

This is a very good way of keeping a healthy mind in a healthy body. A good body posture and a physically healthy body itself exhume confidence and speak out naturally about the personality and aura of a person. The youngsters of today should make the gym or exercising a habit not only for a good, attractive and muscular body but also a show of a positive outward attitude in life.

  • Be Open to Recieve Feedback

One should always encourage feedback whether in the office or at home. It becomes a measure of understanding oneself and a mode of rectifying any uncalled for change. It ensures positivity in the right direction and a measure of one’s self-development.
