Discipline is the practice of training people to follow or obey a set of rules or codes of behavior that will help them and society to exist with ease. Discipline is not punishment, it is not enforcement of rules, it is a choice. Discipline is a choice one can make that will help them achieve their goals. Some say discipline is a decision on which all the consequences of your other big decisions depend.

  • It helps an individual be more focused on his or her work or studies, etc.
  • Discipline causes an individual to be more sincere and serious towards their goals.
  • People who are disciplined tend to gain respect from others. “You grow what you sow”, here means, since disciplined people are respectful when interacting with people, everyone treats them with respect too.
  • A notable impact of discipline is health. It makes an individual aware of staying fit and taking care of the body, leading to good mental and physical health.
  • Time is something really important aspect of being disciplined. A disciplined person has more time than an undisciplined person. Because disciplined people do not waste their time on worthless or unimportant activities, free time is there is a disciplined person’s schedule to relax and focus on their hobbies.
